    We have several youth that are currently being trained in Columbiana County in the 4-H Pet Pal program.

    The Spring Tractor Supply Paper Clover Drive started April 11 through April 22nd.  Columbiana County 4-H Clubs took time out to help promote 4-H at both Tractor Supply locations.

    Bringing Help Bringing Hope

    The Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Board and OSU Extension partnered together the week of April 9th through April 13th to recognize 1st responders and those individuals helping with the opiod epidemic throughout Columbiana County. 4-H Teen Council members and 4-H Junior Leaders came together to put totes of goodies to be distributed throughout the week.  We had 17 4-H Clubs distribute the totes to various police, fire and recovery centers throughout the county. 

  6. 2018 Ohio 4-H Conference

    On Saturday, March 10th, several 4-H volunteers and teens from Columbiana County attended the Ohio 4-H Conference in Columbus. They attended several sessions and workshops throughout the day on topics of community service, teen leadership, preparing for the future in 4-H and many more.   7. Classes Being Offered

    The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is offering two free nine-weeks class at the Columbiana Way Station and Salem Memorial Building starting this spring. Both classes will not only cover the MyPlate and its’ five food groups but also how we can keep our food safe. Participants will also learn some low impact physical activities. All classes will feature a cooking portion allowing participants to prepare and taste low cost, healthy recipes.

  8. 4-H Hands to Larger Service

    Columbiana County 4-H will be working on their hands to lager service H in the upcoming month! The Columbiana County 4-H Program has been asked to partner with the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board to celebrate the workers who have been on the frontlines battling the opioid epidemic. During the Bringing Help Bringing Hope week in Columbiana County 4-H volunteers, youth members, and families will be delivering a special thank you to the helping community at their places of business!

  10. Farm Science Review to be held September 18-20

    The Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio is home to the Farm Science Review (FSR), which attracts more than 140,000 visitors from all over the United States and Canada, who come for three days to peruse 4,000 product lines from 600 commercial exhibitors and learn the latest in agricultural production. The educational programs feature Ohio State and Purdue specialists and are second to none in the agricultural exhibition world.
