Columbiana County Extension to Host Celebration & Recognition Event Honoring 4-H Members, Volunteers and Community Impact

The Ohio State University Extension will host its annual Celebration & Recognition event, bringing together community members to honor the outstanding efforts and accomplishments of individuals and groups who make a difference across the county.

This special evening will shine a spotlight on:

  • 4-H Youth Members who demonstrate leadership, dedication, and personal growth through their projects and service.

  • Master Gardener Volunteers who share their expertise to improve community green spaces and educate residents.

  • Community Partners whose collaboration helps expand outreach and impact.

  • Dedicated 4-H Volunteers who mentor youth and strengthen programs year-round.

“This event is a time to reflect on the incredible work being done in our community,” said Audrey Dimmerling. “It’s also a way to say thank you to those who give their time, energy, and talents to make a lasting impact.”

In addition to celebrating achievements, the evening serves as a fundraiser for programs that inspire youth development, lifelong learning, and local community change.

Proceeds from the event will support:

  • 4-H Career & Workforce Development Opportunities

  • Volunteer Training & Recognition

  • Youth Leadership Experiences

  • Community Gardening & Education Projects

The OSU Extension Celebration & Recognition event is open to the public, and all are invited to attend to show support for these impactful programs.
