4-H Pet Pal Training Underway

We have several youth that are currently being trained in Columbiana County in the 4-H Pet Pal program.

4-H Pet Pals teaches youth the skills needed to interact with residents in healthcare facilites,like assisted living and nursing home facilities, enhancing the intergenerational relationships. They learn how to train and prepare their pets so they can participate in animal assisted activites as a team.  They learn about animal behavior, animal handling techniques and proper pet care.
