WHAT IS SERVSAFE?
ServSafe is a training and certificationprogram that teaches food and beveragesafety. The National Restaurant Association(NRA) administers the program, which isaccredited by ANSI and the Conference forFood Protection.Ohio State University Extension offersServSafe® trainings that fit everyorganization's needs, using a variety oftraining methods. This is a multiple day foodsafety training course for Ohio food servicemanagers (Ohio Food ServiceManager/qualifies for Ohio Certification inFood Protection certificate).The ServSafe® training program is theindustry standard for food safety educationand this course meets the standards as set bythe Ohio Department of Health as Level IICertification in Food Protection ManagerCertification (Ohio Revised Code 3701-21-25).
