Living in Northeast Ohio, we’re no strangers to rain. So how do we harness that rainwater and use it for our benefit? Rain barrels are beneficial in that they help collect and conserve rainwater, reduce runoff from your property, and they provide an easy source of water for taking care of your plants and landscape.
In this program, we will cover the basics of water barrel maintenance and use, and will demonstrate how to create a “rain garden” using your conserved resources.
SPEAKERS: Pete Conkle, Soil and Water Conservation District & Haley Shoemaker, OSU Extension
